If you're on the  AFML too,  you've probably heard me talk about my dieting past before.

 

My diet history is  about 10 years long now. And in that 10 years I've lost ( and gained back) over 30 kg, 3 times!!!  That's 90 kg! And than all the times that I've started a diet and quit after about 4 kg.

 

So I guess it's been 100 kg in the mean time.

 I think I have a eating addiction. And that I sabotage myself everytime because throughout my life I heard A LOT that I wasn't good enough the way I was.

So if I weigh 53 kg (my lowest weight ever) I still feel fat!

 

 

But now I'm back up to my heaviest weight ever: 82.5 kg! And I've started and failed a few sad attemps in the last months.

 

 

My mother has a birthday coming up and wanted new cool pictures of her precious children. ;-D

 

So yesterday my brother and me went to the photographer. When I saw the pictures back I was sort of shocked! The ones of me in profile in particular, are just horrible!

 

 

The stomach! And legs en bottom!  Of course I know that I'm overweight but in my mirror it did not look as bad as the full size picture from the photographer.

 

 

 

A few weeks ago on the AFML I talked about the Guy of Gisburne diet. 

 

 

Whenever I'm on a diet I need to motivate myself. So why not involve one of my favourites! 

Guy of Gisburne is in shape. :-P Whahaha

They all where in the old days. And what did they eat?

Bread, vegetables,  fruit and meat. Indeed!  That's a healty meal!  

So I thought of a Guy of Gisburne diet.  

 

There are a few diner scenes in Ros so I looked closer at what's on the table.  

Here are a few examples. :-)  

 

The food I've seen so far, or I think I saw, are:

Meat: Chicken, Pork, Venison 

Bouillon

Cheese

Bread

Fruit: Apple, Red Grapes, Green Grapes, Strawberry?, Plume?

Applesauce or maybe gooseberries? In the bowl I couldn't identify above. :-D

Vegetables: Cabbage, Lettuce                                                                                            

Unfortunally, I don't drink so there will be no wine but water to drink for me. :-)

 

I know, I have to much time on my hands. I thought about it a lot. Till the point that I remembered my baby plate on the attic! It's not quite the Nottingham plate set, but maybe it helps me:


At least it's a small plate so small portions.haha 

 

So, I think that's pretty much it for today. I expect to start the diet wednesday. Why wednesday? That's simple. Before we took the pics, we did the weekly groceries. So there's still a lot of crap in the house that I've got to get rid of. Knowing myself, I won't throw it out. I'll eat it! Yes, might as well be honest. haha

Times goes by fast. It's sunday already.

I planned to update last wednesday but that was day 1 and there was not much to tell yet. 

 

 

I'd like to thank you all for the great reactions I've got. Also from people who lost a lot of weight themselfs and gave me some pointers. Thanks everyone for your support! 

 

 

Unfortunaly no brave souls who will join yet. So again, if you want to join (no matter what diet you use) and want me to publish your weekly updates too, than don't be afraid to contact me. :-)

 

 

First thing I did on wednesdaymorning was weigh myself. Big shock!! My official starting weight was: 83.7 kg.

I was not happy. But not surprised either. With the big diet in sight I ordered a pizza the day before. Last one for at least a couple of weeks.

So that was all the news on wednesday. :-P  

The first days were hard. It still is ofcourse. I chew a lot of gum. Although I have never seen Guy of Gisburne doing that. :-D  

The face I pulled the first days during eating healthy while rather having French fries, I did recognize from Gisburne. whahaha

 

 

And I must say, I also cheat in the morning. I have my healthy breakfast drink. Because it has to be as easy and quick in the morning as possible.

Further more I have to tell all you collegue Gisburne Dieters, that I did not intent just eating the few things that Guy has on the table. Some of you thought that I would just eat apples, grapes and cheese, for instance. But I just use that as a guideline.

I eat all kinds of veggies and fruit. Little meat (whatever kind), a little cheese and bread.Soup a.s.o. But try to eat divers so I don't get sick of  the same food everyday. The main thing is trying to eat healthy and divers.

To help me, I put a picture of Gisburne in front of me. It helps with not overeating because I'm being watched. ;-D  

 * Note: This pic is staged. This is the actuall photo of Guy I use, but this pic is made in my kitchen and normally I eat on the couch in the livingroom in front of the tv. (Lazy:-D) But that was hard to capture on camera.

Oh yes, before I forget, on wednesday evenings I'm going to work out with a friend who's also trying to lose weight. Very good of us. :-P

 

I will weigh myself every sunday morning and update sunday evening's.

I'm happy to tell you that my weight this morning was: 82,4.

 I'm sorry I forgot to update yesterday!

That immediatly soms up the results of this week.

It's not going well. I'm having a hard time with not eating bad things. I did some sports on Wednesday and than found myself eating when I got home.

So now I have printed out some of the horror pictures from the photoshoot with my brother. Maybe that helps. I sure hope so.

Sorry that there is not a lot more to tell.

Maybe you had noticed already.

I'm not really steady in updating. Ofcourse that has a reason.

My dieting is not successful. I'm busy with other stuff and I haven't been feeling very well the last couple of weeks.

So to avoid more frustrations I have decided to stop trying for a while.

She's back!!! On a diet. whaha

Yes, people. And this time it's on!!!

I've been feeling more like my old self and actually been back on my diet since 2,5 weeks. 

I wanted to give it a good start before I announced it on the site. No quitting after a few weeks. :-D

 

So, what are the stats.

Well, before I started the diet I ballooned up to a shocking 85,4 kg!

Something had to be done!

So I got my big behind of  the couch and did something about it.

Since I started I lost 4,9 kg. I weight in wednesday morning and my weight was 80,5 kg.

In the beginning it always goes fast. But I know I'm in for a battle. Will I win? Ofcourse! Let's make Gisburne proud! ;-) 

 

I'm not sure yet if I will update once every two weeks or every months. I guess it depends on how much there is to tell.

Anyway, the next time you'll here from me, my behind will be a little smaller.. We hope. :-D

I thought it would be time to give you a new update.
I'm still struggling. Some days are good. Some days are really bad.
Like this weekend. It's my grandfather's birthday today, so yesterday the whole family came together to celebrate. 
.. And eat. whaha

But the good news is, I'm still losing weight. Although it's not a lot. :-)
This morning my weight was 78.9 kg.

I'm so glad I don't have a date in mind in which I want to lose like 25 kg. Otherwise I would already be frustrated by now. whaha
I will win this battle! Even though I think it will take me forever. whaha
